The Department of Cultural Affairs falls under the Ministry of Tourism and Arts. Its mandate is to preserve, Promote and integrate culture into the mainstream of development. The Department coordinates all cultural activities including Arts and Cultural infrastructure, folklore and Intangible Heritage, Arts and Cultural Industries, Policies and Inter-cultural Dialogue, Inter-Ministerial Cultural Cooperation, Capacity Building and Arts and Cultural Research.
