NEW PERMANENT SECRETARY HONORABLE BERNARD CHOMBA TOURS PART OF CENTRAL PROVINCE

INTRO
Newly appointed Permanent Secretary for Central Province, Bernard Chomba, has taken a familiarization tour of some districts in the province.
So far, Mr Chomba has visited Mkushi, Serenje and Chitambo where he interacted with workers and visited some projects.
Here are the details————
The new Permanent Secretary for Central Province, Bernard Chomba, is proving to be a man of action as he has immediately embarked on the first leg of his tour of districts in the region.
He has started his tour in collaboration with Minister for Labour Minister and Social Security, Joyce Nonde and Labour Commissioner, Chanda Kaziya in Mkushi district where they also paid a courtesy call to chief Chitina and visited the school, clinic and the farm block.
Mr chomba proceeded to Serenje district where he addressed government workers and advised them to work hard and develop the district and nation at large.

The PS also visited Chitambo district and paid a courtesy call on Chief Chitambo. He also toured new sites for the district administration and local government.
Mr Chomba was taken on a conducted tour of COMACO, a food processing plant in Serenje and a cassava processing plant under construction in Chitambo.

The visit of Chomba to these areas is an encouragement to workers as they feel that government is concerned about their contribution to national development.
